Luca De Bona and Dario De Meo, respectively architect and designer, meet each other on the journey between Milan and Veneto and start a cooperation that from the very journey draws inspiration to create signs and designs answering the contemporary habitat’s needs.

In 2013 in Padova they found the studio DEBONADEMEO and start to cooperate with prestigious furnishing, lighting, decoration companies taking care of the interior design, the art direction, the conceiving of product development and concept. A research in micro and macro scale reading anew and fusing several fields: architecture, design, graphic and art creating innovative environments and objects, but capable of narrating stories and provoke emotions.

Their projects, identifiable by the mix of romantic evocations and industrial references, showed up in several national and international sector headings. Alongside their design activity they both teach at design schools and universities.

Francesco founded his studio in 2017 in Milan, where he carries out a design approach aimed at pureness and innovation, seeking an uncontaminated harmony of objects through a clear and essential design emphasizing the product’s textural, physical and conceptual qualities.
Innovation is pursued carrying on a continuous research on materials, technologies, finishing (new and traditional) and their possible uses, then, working on the product’s archetypes and meanings, new formal expressions are found.

The final project’s consistency is gained integrating completely material, technology, finishing, form and meaning.

Francesco carried out his studies at the Milan Politecnico, where he achieved, with flying colours, the magistral degree in Innovation Design, and at the Design Acadamy in Eindhoven. He started his working experience during his first years at university.

In London he consolidated his career as product designer, working in internationally renowned studios and agencies. Working in these studios he had the opportunity to create projects for some of the most renown design brands and some of the most important multinational companies tied to innovation, getting familiar with a broad range of materials, production technologies and product types, granting him the competence of proposing his own idea of design.
