Both took part in various contests prior to working on the enlargement of the Cemetery at Isola di Comacchio in 1995. They won awards for the following: reconstruction of two residential buildings in a block along the rue de Laeken located in the centre of Brussels (1990), projecting the three squares in Migliarino (Ferrara) and the basin on the River Po (1994), enhancement of the historical streets of Pontassieve opposite rather dim surroundings of a new car park (1996). They both design interiors and exhibitions.They invent and design objects for production by various producing companies (RSVP Tonelli), limited series for both the Edizioni Galleria Colombari of Milan and the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris (Artcodif) as well as prototypes for some of the cultural events at the expo “Abitare il Tempo” in Verona. Elisabetta Gonzo teaches design at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Ravenna. Alessandro Vicari has worked as researcher at the Institut Français d’Architecture and for the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris. Their works have been published in magazines and exhibition catalogues.
